Thanks for that but ive read it already... Ive used the same discs for two years now with not a single problem. I had issues with my last pcs internal drive so i bought an external that works perfect. but i dont want to have to use an external anymore(wire clutter). i dont understand why the internal drive fails? ill try a different burn speed but i always burn at slowest speed for like the last four years without a wasted disc on my external drive. It seems like there might be a setting issue. when i installed (imgburn) i dont remember it asking if i wanted to use spti in the past... i believe i said no.

got a new computer(used). While using internal writer my disc wont finalize. Only tried double layer. im not new to Imgburn. but its new to this pc. Always worked perfect for me before.
