haha alright, thanks. if i figure it out i will post my solution just in case someone else has this obscure error lol.

But why wouldn't it have done it before? the only thing i can think of is that i might have had windows 7 instead of xp last time i did this, but its been so long i cant remember if i had switched back yet or not. edit: also, don't know if it helps, but when i try to play the dvd, its pretty corrupted. colorful squares and zig zags everywhere with bits of actual video in between.

I recently got back into using imgburn after a few months hiatus. nothing has changed with my computer or anything. same discs as before as well. i have tried to burn a couple of movies at a couple of different speeds and they wont work. here is the log: edit: nevermind, log was too big so i uploaded it as an attachment. i also attached a picture of the imgburn program window after it finished verification. anyone know what could cause this?? please help and thanks in advance! edit: sorry thats over 60,000 miscompares. imgburnlog.rtf
