Your drive is old, using 8x rated media the only supported speed is 2.4x, that's not a good sign. Clean the lens with a cleaning disc or manual if you know how. Update your drive's firmware to 1.11 and try again http://www.firmwarehq.com/Matshita/UJ-841S/files.html If that fails again, try find 2.4x media (MKM-001-00) or by yourself a new drive, normal size in an external enclosure, avoid the slim/laptop drives. can't upgrade (WNASPI32.DLL Error !!) after checking drivers tryed few more links,had same message,that F/W loader not apply to the dvd/cd-rw drive that you are using
