Ok so I got a ASUS usb burner and this thing is working like a charm! Everything is all better now!

I am thinking of getting a Pioneer DVR-108. Would that be good?

A cleaning disc could also be worth a try. I think that is the problem. I am going out to buy my self an new burner so this wont happen again... What you recommended? I read around the website and could not choose one... I am using a laptop HP pavilion dv7-1228ca. and lastly are external burners good or no? Thanks for the help but still not working.. It solved this issue. Now the disc shows up with the right amount of sectors. Have you tried the 4x rate speed? I will try first thing in the morning! Thanks!

That helps me find out the problem but does not help me solve it...
