Thanks for the tip!

I know that it plays DVD-R's and DVD-RW's, but i'm not sure specifically what file types it can play.

I'm kind of a noob with burning dvds. I've had a few successes, but lately most of my burnt dvds haven't been playing. A friend told me to try burning folders instead of just the files. The problem is, my dvd player recognizes the folders, but not the files. Most of them have been AVI files. Any suggestions?
