Try the other two speeds also. Try with a cleaning disc (if you managed to burn those discs with that media code before). As you have tried with other brands also, it might be time to get a new burner that is better at burning DL media. An external full height burner is usually better to burn those discs. SlimLines are a bit of a hit and miss. Thnx for reply. Actually I have created like 15 backups of my Xbox 360 games earlier on my desktop (which i exchanged for a new laptop with Optiarc DVD drive). But the same disks are not getting succesfully written using my laptop burner. I searched a lot for any updated firmware, but my drive number doesnt show up anywhere. Don't know what to do.
