So whats should I get so that I can burn games, movies, and shows?

Imgburn want recognize my disc nore will build them
Im a beginner and ive managed to do one game download successfuly but after that it stopped working.
img burn will not finish builing my files, and it doesnt seem to recognized my disc even tho its already in my laptop. i Have a windows XP laptop
