  1. I'm very unhappy with ImgBurn as the data it had put on a DVD was completely lost when other burning software topped up the disc. It was also said to be in CD format rather than DVD format. It took me hours to try to recover the original data from its source, and I doubt I got all of it. I have now found that CDBunerXP is my prefered burner software, so bye bye.
  2. Thats very bad. I shall have to use some other software instead. What's the point of having a function called "Build" if it does not in fact build?? When you say "You have to rebuild your disc with the additional files" am I correct in thinking that this means a) copying the existing files to my nearly-bursting HD, b ) re-formating the DVD, c) copying back the old files and the new files onto it? Thanks
  3. I'm a beginner regarding using writeable DVDs and/or ImgBurn. I copied some binary files to a new DVD+RW, as a data-disk using the "Build" option, intending to top them up later with some more files until the DVD was full. I do not think my old computer, with a nearly full HD and not much memory, could cope with doing the full 4.7GB in one go. When I tried to copy another batch of files, I was shocked to be told that the existing files on the DVD would be deleted. What??!! How do I get ImgBurn to do what I want please? Thanks
