Hrmm, I have an LG burner myself but device buffer is constant.
Interesting? I guess this is a weird thing, works ok,but the Device buffer bounces when burning.
Buffer itself is constant.

Optiarcs are notorious jumpers due to calibration during the burn. Never had an LG, but it could be the same behaviour you are facing.
ok,all ready did the firmware update,so that's up to date.So this is the way it is?,normal for this drive, you think?

Hello; I have a LG WH10LS30 blu-ray burner, running on windows xp sp3.Is it normal for the device buffer to bounce
from 58% to 84% through out a blu-ray ISO burn, while buffer itself is at 100%.Seems to be working ok,just
wondering if this device buffer should bounce like this? No problems in log.Thankyou.

You should have posted a log - as per the pink box up the top
It seems there's something about the discs that your drive just doesn't like (now).
Are you running the 1.00-A9 firmware?
Right click the drive selection box when you're in Write mode and click 'Check for firmware updates'. It'll tell you the full firmware version number in message box that pops up.
Hi,sorry,I didn't have a log to post.I have to set to save.Just updated to the 1.00-A9 Firmware,I will try again to burn a DvdFab blu-ray ISO,If I get the error again,I will post the imgburn log as soon
as I get it.

Hi ALL; I'm using latest DvdFab and Imgburn 2.5.5.0 to backup some blu-rays on BD-R 25GB Disc's.All was working fine
for a while,I have a LG WH10LS30 Blu-ray burner.All of sudden I'm getting 2 errors in imgburn when burning blu-rays.
1)failed to write sectors 0-30-reason-program memory area update failure,It re-try's once then seems to go ok.?
2)finalize failed-reason-cannot write medium incompatible format.I close and eject disc, and it seems ok.?
these two errors starting showing up after I used a BD-RE 25GB Disc,it formatted and burned to that disc.
then I went back to the BD-R 25GB Disc's,and these errors started showing up,that's all I can think of that I did different.
Using 25GB Disc's,and I have the Size in DvdFab set to 23700.
Any Idea What's going on here?? funny thing is the disc's seem to play ok,on computer, and on blu-ray player?
Why these Error's all of a sudden? Please, any help appreciated.Thankyou
