My DVD drive was connected to my Marvell 9128 6GB SATA controller. I swapped it to one of the 3GB ports on the other controller, and it worked without a hitch. I only didn't do this because the main 6 port controller has 4 drives in a RAID config, and I didn't think it would be OK to have a non-raid CD/DVD on the SATA controller, but apparently it isn't a problem. Just need to see if the disk is readable in the PS-3

When I start to burn an ISO file, and write the leadin, I get multiple Device I/O errors. Sometimes after hitting retry at least 5 times, it finishes the disk, mostly not. Made a couple of coasters, and then did it in Test Mode with the same results. This has happened with two drives, (both Lite-on 424s, both with the latest firmware, and Verbatim disks that I have used to burn 100's of disks using Nero recode with no issues on a different machine/drive.
