Tank you for the quick reply the size is ineed 48,828,125 KB. I ran into this problem when i wanted to burn a 50GB-ISO file on this disk, i thought your solution would free up some hidden/reserved space.
What kind of disks do i need to burn 46GB+ ISO-files then?
Although they might be marked up as 50GB, that's not actually 50GB.
It means 50,000,000,000 bytes (or thereabouts)
which really means...
50,000,000,000 / 1024 = 48,828,125 KB
/ 1024 = 47,683.72 MB
/ 1024 = 46.57 GB
I have a problem that the 50GB rewritables i bought ,just have 45 GB of space abvailable. I've read and tried Lightning UK's solution (A full erase/format with ImgBurn with 'Prefer Format Without Spare Areas' enabled in the settings (Write tab)), but this doesn't seem to work for in my situation.
I have a LG-BE12LU30 burner, and Panasonic BD-RE DL ReWriteable 50Gb 2x-discs can this be why the suggested solution doesn't work? Or do i need to buy other disks?
all help is highly appreciated
