  1. The first time I attempted to write the ISO, after the popup requesting an image name, I got another popup saying there was a problem with the configuration and did I want ImgBurn to correct it for me, which I said yes, perhaps it changed the mode at that time? Since your post I tried it again, did everything the same as my first time. This time however the second popup box did not appear (so maybe I did something different the first time?) and the ISO was created. I am now burning the ISO to disk and do not expect there to be any problems. Thank you for your assistance, from the limited amount of time I have spent with ImgBurn, I want to compliment the developers for the thoroughness of their coding and information given back to the user. I especially appreciate the attention to detail, like how the task bar icon displays the progress of the activity being performed. I just sent in a donation to support its continued development. Regards, Steven
  2. I was able to do as you suggested and it created a .bin file and I was able to burn a disk from this image. I do have a question which I hope you or someone else can answer. What is the reason the image file is a .bin and not an .iso? I am happy with using the .bin as it gets the job done. I am just one of those gear heads who likes to understand why iso is not used for this purpose. Thank you and best regards, Steven
