interseting, so in that case id need the 8x verbs? the 2.4x ones could be causing the problem?

The second attempt seems to have been used a used disc. the speeds i have tryed are 1x, 2.4x, and 8x do you suggest that i try and write at 4x or 6x? im out of disk atm
