[Xbox 360, 'cannot set layer break' issue]

There is your problem right there. You cannot arbitrarily set layerbreaks with -R DL media, only +R DL. Sorry but your discs are useless for use as 360 backups. You need +R DL (go for Verbatim).

i sit here with face palmed head. I feel like the biggest idiot on the planet right now thx

i really should have seen that problem (i would have 2 years ago) but i hardly burn disks anymore. thx again

I've attached the log like told also two screen shots of the problems, one of the screen shots is not mentioned in the log file.

 

 

I've gotten the layer break set to 1,913,760

but when i click 'write' it says 'Cannot set the layer break postion when writing DVD-R DL Media'

I dont know why, im using 8.5Gb Verbatim Dual Layer dvd's at x4 write speed (ive tried changing that too but it just says in log,

W 12:26:44 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 3,324 KB/s (2.4x), Got: 5,540 KB/s (4x)

 

Does anyone know why this is happing? if so i would really like to know how to avoid/fix this issue.
