The TDK is DVD-R, it doesn't have a RW logo, but the SOny DVD+R does have an RW. What does the RW mean, the disc isn't listed as erasable.

Mr Guttz, are you sure that portable player is compatible for playing RW discs? I think it might only play DL and SL -R or +R discs correctly. What does the manual say, any mention of RW discs or just ones with the DCD Video emblem, which might mean it won't reconize the RW's your using. -
I use either TDK DVD-R or Sony DVD+R. These disks both have an RW on them.

does that mean try other brands of disk or different type ?

When I burn a disc using imgburn, i have no problem playing it on my home dvd players, but when I try to play it on my Polaroid PDM-0723 I keep getting "bad disc". Can anyone tell me if I am setting something up incorrectly.
