  2. I can't attest to this issue on other discs, but I seem to have resolved my issue. I reduced retries after a read error from 20 to 5 and checked "Ignore read errors" as well, and restarted the imaging. It threw the same errors, but eventually passed "Track 2" and continued on to finish. The image seems to be in good condition, not corrupted, and works in place of a NoCD patch. Thanks, ImgBurn.
  3. Hi, I'm encountering an issue while trying to make an image file of a disc. I have an image file from a previous imaging, but it's been corrupted after a hard drive crash. Unfortunately, I can't seem to use ImgBurn to recreate the image file. ImgBurn gets stuck "Analyzing Tracks... (Sector 1, Track 2)", and the log, in debug mode, shows the error that is the topic title: "E hh:mm:ss SENSE Interpretation: Illegal Mode For This Track" The disc is somewhat scratched, but only in a few places and fairly light. There is one heavy mark near the edge of the disc, but most of it is outside of the reflective area of the disc. As for the disc, it is a Battlezone II game disc, so it may have something like SafeDisc or Securom on it. Before I consign the image's fate to a security problem, I'd like to see if there's anything I can do to keep the contents/layout of the disc. After trying to image for a minute or so with no obvious progress, I stop ImgBurn, since it seems like it's going nowhere. The log is provided, with only minor editing to remove repeated "Device ready!" messages:
