  1. I have gotten a bit better at using the IMGburn options. I read and reread all of your posts. You guys/gals really helped.
  2. Any help which you give me is voluntary. It is yours to give. Or not. My question rephrased is other than Book type = DVD-ROM and Perform OPC before write what settings are there for a write that might make this burning of a Wii game on dual layer media successful? @LIGHTNING UK! regarding a post of yours below. What is the other command which ImgBurn does not send by default? "Try enabling the 'Perform OPC Before Write' option. I know exactly which commands CloneCD sends before a burn starts and that's one of 2 that ImgBurn doesn't also send (by default anyway)".
  3. I am not blaming Imgburn. I am asking what settings I should use for burning a dual layer for Wii. I am asking here because I need the knowledge resource of at least one person who understands the various capabilities of ImgBurn. There are many permutations of the many settings of ImgBurn that will burn an iso on a dual layer so that the DVD device can read it back. Someone may know which settings on the most recent version of ImgBurn are best for a Wii Dual Layer. I am positive that there are members of this forum who know. Will someone with this knowledge bother to read my topic and answer? Dunno, but I hope. For instance I could burn dual layer without the DVD-rom book type and the dual layer disk would still burn/verify properly but we both know that DVD-rom is more successful. I am asking what other settings are like book type = DVD-rom. I found another for instance. I should (according to Cynthia) try with and without "Performing Optimum Power Calibration (OPC ) is a special technique used in newer CD/DVD recordable drives to perform a test write and read in an area inside of the lead-in, in order to determine the best laser power for recording and to adjust to each recordable disc, which may vary slightly from different manufacturers, or for other reasons." Could you guys link me to some more of your posts???

  5. Before I found this topic (link below) my new DVD burner could not even verify what it wrote. I changed the setting that it shows and now the verify works. My disk still does not work in the Wii. The disk is supposed to be Xenoblade Chronicles. The DVD channel in the upper left hand corner is not even recognizing it as Xenoblade Chronicles. I am thinking that there are other settings I need to change. http://www.modmasters.net/content/view/54/30/ I upgraded ImgBurn a few days ago. I have never burned a dual layer for the Wii. My burner is Liteon ihas 424 (and my modchip is Wasabi Zero).
