I Forgot to metion that convert to dvd program does......and that i have another dvd but player only ,connected to the writter, does the last inflict with the first?

Hello ..trying to get info on why my drive doesn't read the disc i put into it. And that applies for every disc I put in. The ImgBurn notes that Device not ready(Mediun Not Present) any HELP would be appriciated.

So when i downloaded imgburn and read the instuctions...i then tried burning a disc 1.problem came up,when I inserted a disC(DVD+R DL)my drive came up in the drop menu but the disc was not.I 10:49:03 ImgBurn Version 2.5.6.0 started!
