Can I change book type setting with a Sony writer?

I have a Sony DL DVD Writer (DRU-800A) and I'm unable to change the book type setting in ImgBurn as Sony drives aren't a selectable tab in the Change Book Type window. As far as I know, my writer does allow for book type setting. I've used Nero up to this point in burning DVD+Rs and they've been book typed. If I can't change the book type setting with ImgBurn, is there a way to check if the book type is already set? Thanks.
