Sorry, I meant to say firmware. That's what I reinstalled to no effect. I'll try burning at 16x.

I've re-installed the driver for my disc drive. I uninstalled SPTD. I'm using verbatim discs (that have been sitting around for 1-2 years). I tried changing the speed, but I seem unable to do that correctly (and a 10x max write speed did nothing). What should I do next? The log is below.
