Rockhound Jeff

After I'm finished burning with ImgBurn I get a blue screen saying Windows has shut down your computer to prevent damage. Then asks if this was the first time this message appeared.....then I have to manually turn off and back on whereupon a new message appears that says Windows has recovered from a serious error. Why is this happening?
