  1. Oh. Well, just one final post before I'm outta here: BurnAware Free does it! It tells me when I've inserted a disc with a previous session when I enter one with one and if I want to continue or create a new session, so I guess I'll be trying that out. Not really compatible with WIndows sessions I've created before though.
  2. OH, thanks for clearing that up. I had a feeling to ask before I started (guess it was right). Well I guess I can still use it for complete discs like you said. Hmm, is packet writing ever planned for the future? I'm guessing not but I don't know why it would be a left out feature.
  3. Hello. I've been buring a lot of archival discs (DVD+Rs) recently but am trying to switch to ImgBurn since the Windows 7 built in disc burner that I've been using before is pathetic. It's speed is only 1x-4.18x. I know it's not my media either since I already have run speed tests and got minimum of 9.26x, with the average slightly over the rated 16x (16.41 avg). My firmware is up to date too. Anyways, enough about that. I usually use the Windows 7 built in burner like I said, in "Live File System" mode (packet mode), where you can use the disc like any media with explorer, dragging, droppng files, etc till the disc is full, even if you eject it or such. That's super handy. But what I am wondering is how does ImgBurn handle packet mode? In settings, under Write I see DAO/SAO as the default mode chosen, whereas from the settings post here, it mentions packet only under Incremental. So should I just change it to Incremental? I don't want to mess anything up and if the session is closed with DAO/SAO, will that not allow me to add additional information to a disc if there is free space remaining? Or should I leave it at DAO/SAO since that does packet writing too?
