No, my source file is on my laptop itself. I'll try burning at 8x. How would installing 7 Service Park 1 benefit me?

I have successfully burned two ISOs to the same kind of disc before, using the same settings (including write speed; it rounded it to 2x last time I tried to burn it, too, but that wasn't a problem). Throughout the burning process, while both buffer bars remained at 100% (apart from the middle bar dropping to 97% or so for a short second or two before going back to 100%), I noticed my write speed was never constant, and went from 0.0x to 2x to 0.0x, etc.. As far as I can remember, this didn't happen for either ISO I burned (i.e. the write speed maintained 2x). Then, as you can see, it failed to verify at the end. Not sure what I should be doing differently!
