The Rock Snob

Greetings All... I can't seem to find suitable info in the guides, so I'll ask here. I have an 8GB ISO file that I would like to convert to a DVD file folder to convert at a later date. I'm only finding instructions on how to burn an ISO directly to DVD+ DL (which I know how to do). Can't I make a conversion to DVD and put it in a new folder on my hard drive without having to make a hard physical (dual layer) copy? Thank you in adavance for all your help.
