Thanks for looking at the data I uploaded. I tried to follow your instructions and tried to create an image from both a DVD+RW disc and a DVD-R disc. I captured the log file and added my comments about actions I took. Not sure if I inserted my comments on exactly the right place as there was a lot of data being recorded. I have done some additional testing of ImgBurn option for creating Image files. I am attaching two documents which summarizes my findings and conclusions. The PDF document has some screenshots of different options I tried. I also included the ImgBurn Log file which I added my comments. Hope this information is usefull for solving similar problems and also suggesting some improvements that could be made to ImgBurn since I was able to use Roxio Create Image application to create an image file from a data only RW DVD. Hello. I am a new user of ImgBurn so I apologize for my ignorance. Thet being said I just tried creating an image from a DVD+RW disk containing data files. ImgBurn does not load the disk or make any attempt at creating an image. I had no problem creating an image file from this same disk using Roxio Image Creator. Any ideas about what the problem may be? I am using a Toshiba laptop with Vista Ultimate 32-bit. I can send complete system info if that will help. Thanks for any help you can provide. Jerry
