ok. I didn't mean it to sound that way, what I meant to say was that it could be IMGBURN and not my drive so that's why I tried power iso to see if it was a software program issue or indeed a hardware drive problem. Sorry for the confusion. thank you.

Hey LIGHTING UK, so you think there is nothing wrong with hardware or drivers or software according to the log files? why do you think the drive will do better on those speeds? its an internal blue-ray/ 16X dvd burner that I had probably for 3 years now, never had a problem writing on AWS speeds before... So you think that's the issue? what bothers me is that at burning there seems to be no issue but is rather at verifying when I get the problem and the error messages. Let me know. Thanks!

Hello, I have been having this problem with IMGBURN since I updated to latest version...I did uninstall it and re-installed it to see if that fixes, problem but nothing. the disk seem to burn okay(ISO to DISK) but EVERY SINGLE time it fails at "verify" and the disk(DVD) becomes unusable, my dvd drive cant read nor my windows 8 OS.
