Thank you. I actually have been using the memorex dvd+r the whole time and they always worked. My friend grabbed these sony ones for me and it's the first time I had any problems despite efforts to make it work. I always set the burn speed at 4x, and if it's ever more, no more then 8x. I have him exchanging dvd's for the ones that I have had success with and hopefully I'm all set.

Hi, So last night I installed the latest imgburn and and just installed it right into the folder in DVD FLick which replaced the old imgburn, tried to burn the movie and it got stuck at the same spot as all the others, while writing the sectors- I didn't wait for it to finish because I knew it wasn't going to work. I noticed in one spot on imgburn somewhere it said "burn capacity" and it was lkike 1,3,4,6, and 8x- does that mean it wont burn onto this particular DVD which is Sony DVD-R 16x- I also saw some posts before I THINK about burners not liking these dvds. I usually honestly use Memoriex DVD+R= and never have problem- my friend got these for me since I am not driving right now.

Me again, sorry. If I get the latest img burn, should I download it into the old imgburn folder within my DVD FLick Program folder?

Oh, also, I had previously went to the tools-drive to check for firmware updates, it told me mine was 0400- and I cannot see that one in the list the firmware hq site shows.

Ok, so your saying I need an updated imgburn? Because I use DVD Flick with comes with imgburn, so it encodes it and then imgburn automatically opens right up, DVD Flick says I have the most up to date version of the DVD Flick so i am not sure how to update just the imgburn? So I guess how would I save the encoded movie to then open up my seperate updated version of imgburn to then burn it? Does that make sense? lol

Hi there, I am at my wits end with this one here, been trying to correct it through forums and help pages with no solution yet.
I have a HP Pavilion DV7-3165dx Entertainment Notebook. The drive is a "dvdwbd ts-lb23L 0400"
I have Sony DVD-R which I am pretty sure I have used in past. I keep getting the same error. When I put DVD to play, it plays a few minutes and then stops and starts over.
I tried write speeds of 4x and 8x. I checked that my driver was updated, and it says I have most up to date. Please help.
This is the Error Message that pops up, and the log follows:
