After updateing the firmware, the burn was succsessful but abgx is unable to read disc. This time i used maxell dvd, could that be a problem?

I used Verbatim dvd+r dl 8x (from Singapour ) disc three times with slight different settings , but still got error. BurnerMax was enabled , launched the ISO before burning with abxg and everything was 100% OK. After burning, abxg obviously failed to read the disc.
