  1. Thanks for the answers - the disc does play OK IF I let it play normally, i.e. the player is allowed to 'read ahead', but I have always checked a disc by skipping from one chapter to another, and in many instances the chapter starts where the layer break is situated, and no read ahead can take place. So, thankfully, problem sorted, just must remind myself to be more patient! Thanks for Imgburn, my programme of choice.
  2. I am new to burning Blu-Ray discs, and have had some problems with burning films to dual layer Blu-Ray discs. I am using Verbatim 50GB BD-R DL discs. When burnt there are artefacts showing on the burnt disc at what I beieve to be the layer break, and now realise that I was not asked to choose the best layer break as in the DVD's that I have successfully burnt. Should there be a layer break option when using Imgburn to burn BDMV and Certificate folders to a Blu-Ray? Am I missing something/doing something wrong?
  3. Thanks for the response. I have attached the log file for the family tree. I did burn successfully the first time the re writeable was formatted, but not since! Hope this helps ImgBurnFam Tree.log
  4. Trying to burn D/L BD-R RE disk, done it once only successfully immediately after Imgburn formatted the ner BD-R RE disk, but now I try to burn another titlle, and then the same original title to the same disk, all I get is failures, 'No Additional Sense' I have attached the log file to help, hopefully someone can before I trust it to burn to BD-R DL and stop me getting expensive coasters. I am using TDK discs, but am awaiting Verbatim media in case it is the discs! ImgBurn.log
