  1. Yes now this worked thx I tried other USB port. Now I have installed ubuntu 13.10 with DVD without deleting windows, though for some reason I can`t see ubuntu 13.10 in boot loader. There is actually just the windows manager boot loader(with only windows). I tried easyBCD 2.2 but that didn`t change anything.
  2. Ok when I updated my firmware. I went to safe mode and then when I choose verify disc the program repeats Initializing disc and No devices detected. If I go back to normal mode it can`t once again verify the disc, though when I choose write image file to disc there is Disc information: free sectors 452 096. I used DVD-R (Intenso 4.7GB) disc should it be DVD+R ? My friend used the same DVD driver and managed to burn ubuntu to a normal DVD so maybe my computer/system is broken? My comp is brand new so that is guaranty issue then.
  3. After the first image it says initializing disc..
  4. I bought new dvd and tried with that and that too ended up in failure. It says all the time when verifying the disk device removal detected! The dvd drive is fine and connected to my comp. I tried infrarecorder and this too says that no disc device was found on my computer. That`s strange.
  5. Thanks for help. If there is some internet store available to buy correct dvd disks from can you post me a link?
  6. Now I tried other disk and this apparently failed too... In the end it said: set L0 Data zone capacity failed!

  8. I have tried another disk but the same problem remains!! What could it be. Earlier I burned some other Linux-distro with Imgburn to a disk and it worked fine.
  9. Hello! I just installed ubuntu from here: http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop and now I have an empty dvd disk in my dvd player. I chose write image file to disk and after few seconds it sends error message. Strange.
