  2. I wanted share an experience rather than looking for any particular resolution. Ive been running imgburn on a Win 8.0 machine for some time. After upgrading to 8.1, i'll get verification errors while burning an image almost immediately when the verify pass starts. If i choose 'no, dont continue verifying the disk', imgburn hangs. The disk is locked in the drive at this point, i cant eject, or close imgburn. I can 'end' the process but the disk is still locked. Shutting down the machine also hangs. If i hold the power button to shutdown, something invariably gets corrupted in the os and i have to restore back to 8.0, where everything is fine. i cant provide a log and i have no plans to upgrade this particular machine to 8.1 again.
