ok thanks. It preps and scans fine - just when the burn starts, it freezes. Next time I will screen capture the log.

I have been making DVDs with DVDDlick and an external slim drive. Everything has been fine for several months but now the program seizes up. Imgburn stops at "Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices". Meanwhile, the Windows Media center has a completely black screen that the only way out is to reboot the whole system. Any suggestions or ideas as to what is wrong and how to fix it? Thanks!
