lol, yeah, I gathered that after I did the test. I figured what the hell. What do you think of the Kprobe for the disc that I did the worked but wasn't over 8 gb? do you think my drive just cant handle the overburn or do you think its the spindle of Verbatim I picked up? If you think its the drive, can you recommend a drive that is really good for the type of burning/overburning I am doing? Thanks again for all your help on this.

OK, so I downloaded and updated my firmware to the 8L0A and cleared the drive's OPC history then tried a new burn.....fail. Here is the log. Hi, I hope you can help. I have been trying to burn some backups of some of my 360 games and I have been having lots of problems and I am going through a lot of DVD's trying out different ideas and suggestions so I thought I would start a new thread about my specific problem to see if I could get some help. I have combed through the forum looking at people posts with similar problems and I have tried many different methods but I keep getting failures. I got the Verbatim DL DVD's - MKM-003 - so I thought I would be good to go but I am still getting problems with burns. I burned a backup earlier today that was only 7.9 GB and that burned no problem and I was able to boot it up on my 360. Then I tried the one below and 2 others that same size and I can't get past around 50-55% verification so I am not sure if it is the file size or what. I'm using burnermax so I just don't get it.
