  1. Thank you for your thorough assistance! I will play around with what you've said, and if I discover anything notable I'll write back here. Have a great day!
  2. Hi dbminter, Thanks for getting back to me. It seems clear to me now that my issue is the burn failing at the layer change. First let me mention that I haven't tried this with RE discs yet but I will be this weekend. If those get destroyed then I'll probably lose hope in DL burning with this drive. I've had this ASUS drive for about 8 months, but i've only started really using it in the last couple weeks. It burned a SL DVD perfectly but that's all ive tried. I'll try BD SL this weekend but I'm expecting that to be fine. Therefore, it sounds to me like this drive just doesnt like the Verbatim discs, or vice versa. I might try a different BD-DL media, but odds are I will get a Pioneer burner instead of testing my way through different media. Should I try burning the ISO to disc just through Windows, or PowerISO? I havent tried those, because I figured ImgBurn would do it better. Thanks!
  3. Hi, First of all I'd like to say that I have had a lot of good experiences with ImgBurn, thank you for all of your hard work. I am, however, having a bit of an issue burning a full BluRay .ISO to a Verbatim BD-R DL. It appears that every single time I get a bit in to the second layer, there is a write error. I have tried this with 2 different image files, both with the same result at the same time. My suspicion is that the error lies with my ASUS BW-12D1S-U burner. I have read that the ASUS burners are not very good. However, it seems odd to me that this write error happens each time at the same spot. Could this be a sign of faulty discs? Are there are any settings in ImgBurn that I am not setting properly? I have purposefully chosen the lowest write speed, I'm not in a rush. Could this simply be bad luck, with 3 coasters made in a row? I apologize if this is some trivial error on my part, I am a relative newcomer to this. I have read through the guides, and I believe I am doing everything correctly. The .ISO images that I am trying to burn are directly copied off of actual discs using ImgBurn, and I have verified that the .ISO files themselves play like a BluRay should. Any insight or suggestions would be much appreciated, thank you! I/O Error!
