Since posting this and reading the reply, I've attempted three more burns using the TDK DVDs and had one more success and two more failed attempts. I think I'm giving up and just going to look into investing in a new burner. Thanks so much for your reply and for your time!

Hi. First of all, I've been reading the forums for the last three days and wanted to say that I appreciate all that each of you do by contributing your advice, expertise, and help. I am new to using this program, but have to say that I like it more than any of the others I've used. When I first started having failed burns, I assumed I was doing something wrong.. and I tried many different types of DVDs and then after staring at the stack of useless disks, I went and bought some Verbatim DVDs and couldn't wait to try. Sadly, I have now added two more disks to my stack of coasters, both of which are from the Verbatim pack. I was, however, able to successfully burn a DVD using another other brand (TDK) of DVD I had leftover. I will paste the logs from the three processes below. I have a feeling that I will need to be looking into buying a new burner, which I probably could have done with the money I wasted on these coasters sitting on my desk. Anyhow, any help will be greatly appreciated.. and will help me end this frustration because I hope to have some hair left by the end of the day.
