  1. quite an old drive now, and i remember mine struggled towards the end still works but with Sony not updating past 2.1a it lacks the media codes of all the recent media codes from past 2 years maybe even longer.

     

    IF you could get hold of some ritek G04 you may have better luck, you may also find that the Sony will only burn them at 2X instead of 4X.

     

    So try and get some 4X media only (avoid 8x above etc)

     

    THanks for the info. I changed the speed to 2X and it burned to the DVD with out a problem.

     

    I inserted it into my DVD player, but the DVD player errors. I placed it in to another DVD on my laptop, and nothing happened. I open the explore window to see if there were files in the DVD, and there was not any. I did not see a Audio_ts to Video_ts directory. Any ideas?
