  1. I’m burning a dvd now waiting for it to pop out and get a screenshot for you. Now I’m worried about my new burner. I only have 2 more days to return it. I want a good one that burns everything from dvds and blu rays and mdiscs. Not that I and going to burn mdiscs now but just in case latter on. I thought Pioneer was a good Reliable brand. So you think my new burner is going to give me trouble I’ll get another one but research said it was good. How would I pick another one? I just got a new Computer. I don’t think there is room to add an internal burner. Any suggestions on picking a new one if you can’t help me?
  2. Please help me here. I want to do this. I do not have a lot of experience with this. Can you tell me how to open the log. Say when my disk pops out during the but and I get the message. I will duplicate a burn tonight and screenshot a copy of the pop window I get. Then when I click ok and the process resumes I will take another screenshot and post it here too. About opening the log when the disc ejects. This is where I don’t know how to do this. Can you explain in detail how to do this and I will love to try and post what I find. Then you say to try pressing CTRL+C with window highlighted. Not sure but is this the shortcut to screenshot? I use another program for this called shared but either way I will try these things latter and get back with the results. I so appreciate your help. Also I have a question about my burner. Do you think it’s a bad one? It was t cheaper? It burns a lot of media types. Do you think it being a front loader isn’t as good as a one where you open, insert and close the drive? Thanks!
  3. Hello. Thanks for the info on how my drive works with the mechanisms not being able to reload the disc. This is more than the Pioneer Support Agents knew. I think now this is just something to expect. I am getting good burned discs. So I guess I just put up with the nuisance. Thanks for the help.
  4. Hello. No. I am sure. It does not finish the burn. Read my first post. In the middle of each burn . For burning both cd’s and DVD’s the disc will eject and a pop up window appears with the message I posted in my first post. I have to push the disc back in then click the ok button. Then the burn continues. It goes on for a while. Then completes. Nothing fails. When it completes I do have a good burned disc. I am happy with it I just hate having to remember to come back and continue the burn process. I don’t know if it’s the ImgBurn Software or my Burner.
  5. Thanks for the info and looking into my burner. Just to make sure you know. It does not eject after the burn but in the middle of the burn. I have to reinsert in then it continues the process for awhile. When it finishes it does not eject again. tThs info you gave me on changing some
  6. Thanks for the info and looking into my burner. Just to make sure you know. It does not eject after the burn but in the middle of the burn. I have to reinsert in then it continues the process for awhile. When it finishes it does not eject again. The info you gave me on changing some of the setting, I want to try this. I am a little confused though. Are these settings in the ImgBurn app? Though since my cd does not eject after the burn it looks like I will either have to get another burner or just live with this little irritation or maybe try another software but again I really like ImgBurn too. So Inguess I just live with it. Thanks so much gor your help. You were a great help!!!!!!
  7. New Burner Pioneer BDR-XS07UHHD. Good quality device. Every time I burn a cd or dvd during the process about half way through the cd or dvd will pop out if the device. A pop up opens saying “All attempts to automatically close the drive tray have failed! Note: This is to be expected on laptop style slimline drives. Please close it manually and then click ‘ok’ to continue.” This is really bothersome. I start a burn and leave. I go on doing other things. When I go back thinking the burn will be done I find I have to pop the disc back into the drive and continue the burn for awhile longer. I called my burner company they said the burner should not do this. That it could be the software I was using. Does anyone else have this problem? If not I am going to take it back up with Pioneer.please let me know if it’s only me having this problem. Thanks.
  8. Hello. New to this. Searched for answer and found none. Please help. Probably simple but need help. Just downloaded a couple Music CD's. Now I want to try to burn them to my new Blank Discs. Also pretty new to ImgBurn. Though I have been using it lately with great success burning DVD's. So, I have my Music ready to Go on my computer and a blank cd in the drive. I open ImgBurn. There are Icon choices. I believe I should choose Write/Files folders to disc. But when I look at choices from the source menu it wants me to choose a dvd movie. So I think I did the wrong thing. I go back and try again. This time I go to the Mode Menu. I click on Write. I can't seem to open my music files this way either . Darn!! I am in DESPERATE NEED OF HELP!!!!! I don't have a clue what I'm doing! Please send me some detailed info on how to set up ImgBurn to burn my wav Music to cd. Thanks!!!!!
