  1. Well as far as I'm concerned any type of Windows is a punishment. But unfortunately it needs to be used sometimes.
  2. No, 512MB of memory. I have imgburn running fine on another ME based system. Since you said the above I decided to fiddle around with the machine - multiple reboots, swapping around what programs are loaded on start up etc. Suddenly it started working - so I guess that's the route for anyone else who comes across this problem and finds this post. Just try adjusting what you have loaded on the machine and reboot to clear any "left overs". Thanks for your suggestion anyway - it led to a fix eventually although I'm no wiser as to what was the culprit!
  3. Having just installed imgburn on a Windows ME system with a LiteOn SOHW-1633S (VBS41) when I run it I get: Error Reading LITEON_ChangeFor->Items.Strings: A call to an OS function failed and then imgburn immediately terminates crashing as it does so. The crash log contains: C:\PROGRAM FILES\IMGBURN\IMGBURN.EXE 2.2.0.0 caused exception C0000025 at address BFF784C5 (Base: 400000) Registers: EAX=00CCF948 EBX=00CCFE28 ECX=00CCF9CC EDX=BFFBB490 ESI=81D80E74 EDI=00CCFA98 EBP=00CCF9B4 ESP=00CCF93C EIP=BFF784C5 FLAGS=00200202 CS=0177 DS=017F SS=017F ES=017F FS=3E47 GS=0000 FPU stack: 403DE8E6D298CACEC2DA 403DE6D298CACEC2DA92 4037C15D3C00EA366000 403DBEA48A8CA69C82A4 FFFF02AF0000032D032D 00000000000000000000 FFFF02A4000B032C0324 FFFF02F0148A02F01428 SW=0000 CW=1372 Stack dump etc available if of any use. Any ideas?
