  1. Hi:

I first had a problem with the error: lock volume failed, so i closed the cdrom handle using process exploer. Good to go, until i started to burn, then i got W Failed to Write Sectors 0 - 31 - Power Calibration Area Error. I am in Europe and was running off of 220v. I unplugged the power cord and let it run off the battery. Then it started to burn. Why did I get the error and why is it working now? I thought it shouldn't matter, since the PC runs from 110v-240v. Here is the log (it's at 13% currently, but I anticipate it completing):

Also, I use ImgBurn to rip, DVD Shrink to burn, and ImgBurn to burn. Is that right? I also have DVD Decrypter which has been very loyal to me (over 500 movies). Should I stick with Decrypter or does ImgBurn have something more to offer.

    Thanks very much,
