Thanks Guys, thats great news. It happens mostly when sidebar is open sometimes works ok directly after a reboot. Will uninstall other program staright away I shall not name it again cheers

Hi, I hope someone can help I am having trouble writing discs in vista with imgburn(great software), basically when I click burn after selecting an image it displays the following message(please see attached image) So I did a search using process explorer for any processes who have a handle for the cdrom , now this is where it is strange it says my sidebar is accessing the cdrom. But I dont have any gadgets that should be accessing it. If I do a search for the assigned drive letter I get couple more hits being avp.exe,iexplorer.exe,explorer.exe and sidebar.exe again. I am at a loss as to how to fix this and might have to go back to nero for a short while until I get it sorted. Any ideas would help Thanks
