  2. well i use either my ps2 or xbox as a dvd player and my ps2 is in this room and plays it...my xbox does play dvd dl cause i have some of the same brand media as this one that works on it. so i know it will actually play them..i just dont understand why it doesnt choose to play this one..when i put it in it says this disc cannot be recognized make sure its an xbox game dvd movie or music cd may have scratches or be dirty something like that. the disc is brand new doesnt have scratches or dirt. so i dont know

  3. No idea then I'm afraid.

Assuming it plays ok on your PC, it must just be that your players don't like my images.

There's a fix coming in the next version of ImgBurn to improve the situation but afaik, it was only an issue for Samsung players and even then it was only a problem for media that wasn't booktyped to DVDROM (which yours is).

I've gotta say though, the info your copied+pasted from the info panel on the right doesn't really look complete.

It's missing some bits I'd normally expect to see there.

well i said its complete cause it said complete..i verified it after the write..how do i resolve the missing bits? whens the new verison coming out? im getting a new dvd burner on friday a sony DRU830A..ill try anything

  4. now what?

Erm... I dunno, how about you give us a clue of what we're supposed to be looking at?!

    No errors

    Burn at 2.4x

    The book type is DVD-ROM

    Decent media is being used

We can give you a pat on the back but that's about it. :)

yeah i forgot..doesnt play on my dvd players like last time but this time the disc is complete

  7. im pretty sure its set to dvd-rom..my xbox says it cant recognize it and the jvc and pioneer just don't play it at all...no error message or anything..i know they're capable of playing dvd-dl disc cause they played my memorex dvd dl...how do i make sure its on dvd-rom? i know i changed it once before but forgot how

  8. You've not done anything wrong there. What players have you tested it on? What makes are they?

Does the disc play on the PC? Enable 'Verify' next time you burn, at least you'll know the burn went ok that way.

For better burn quality you should stick to 2.4x as a write speed on those discs.

plays fine on the pc. i tried it on my xbox, jvc and pioneer. i know it burned fine cause it does play perfect on my pc...what could cause it to not play on any of my dvd players? i guess ill try to change the write sped to 2.4x but im tired of wasting dvds

  9. im thinking i either picked the wrong break layer..i picked a ifo break layer. or write type dao..i dont know how it changed to dao, it used to be on dvd rom

    what do you think?

EDIT: Are you sure Nero Recode picked up all the files it needed? 25 episodes seems alot for a single disk.

yeah im sure nero got them all..a few seasons i burned plays fine no freezes or anything and they have 25 episodes on them..some work some don't. thanks for the fast reply!

Brett; are all 25 episodes on one dual-layer disc?

yup all 25 they all look decent too...i just tried it again but i check seamless this time and played the episode 13 but it was very choppy and eventually froze

I find that very interesting because before I posted the question to you I checked on several DVD sites and I found out that each of the first 8 seasons are available, but each season comes on 3 dual-layer DVDs. I could be wrong but it appears to me that you don't have the original discs and you possibly downloaded the files or got them from someone who downloaded them.

yeah i recorded most of them to my comp from the tv with a tv tuner
