How can I check the ISO image ImgBurn creates against the md5 checksum it displays in the log file?

Normally you'd use the 'known' MD5 for a file to check for such things - or use SFV/PAR/PAR2 files.
Is there anyway to check an image file against the md5 checksum in ImgBurn? If not it would be a good feature.
As for ISO browsing, it's unlikely but if I ever feel in the mood, I might do it.I think this would make a great feature along with the md5 Checksum check. Those are the only two features that I use UltraISO for now. You're program is a lot better!

When creating the ISOs from Mac formatted discs it says the destination file system is NTFS. Does that mean its not doing it the right way?

All good, except that UltraISO seems to have more information such as System ID, Volume Set ID, Publisher, etc. No big deal though.
Do you have any plans to add ISO browsing functionality like UltraISO or ISOBuster?

It shows in the tooltip when you choose the image file but will only show it in the log file after it started the write process.
Yeah, and it's only shown in the log file after it started the read process.... so I really don't understand what you're getting at!

I can see its contents in UltraISO. I just want to make sure its not corrupt at all.

Ahh.. It displays it in the tooltip. I was looking for it in the log like in Read Mode.
If it displays:
Label: Unknown
Imp ID: Unknown
File System: None
Does that mean the ISO image is broken?

Does it display that information only after you put an empty disc in the drive and hit the Write button? My suggestion is to do display that information once you have selected an image file. I would like to be able to check this info without having to put a disc in the drive and doing a test write.

Could you please have a log window appear with information about the ISO file in Write Mode with all of its details such as Volume and Application Identifiers just like it does for the actual disc Read Mode?

So thats a nice feature for me. I don't like how Nero and UltraISO puts its name in the Application Label of the ISO images it creates. I want it to be as close to the original as possible.

I am not able to do that with the Mac discs since ImgBurn doesn't recognize the file system and IMP ID.
Another question
Does ImgBurn write information to the Labels of the ISO Images like Application Label, Author, Volume Set ID or does it just do an exact copy of the disc and whatever that has?

Is there anyway to use the verify section to verify that an ISO image inst corrupt instead of checking if the disc burn is corrupt?

Is there any tutorial on how to use it and what to look for in its output? Why does it require a blank disc?

It's because the drive was FAT32...I have a couple of unrelated questions but thought I'd ask it here instead of starting a new topic. What are the Verify & Discovery modes exactly? What are they good for? How is Verify mode different than selecting Verify in the Write mode?

I created the image successfully but I don't see an ISO file.. just an MDS file and two other files with different extensions. How do I get it to burn to ISO format?

How can I tell if it has that kind of protection? Are there any settings that need to be changed to get it to read in that mode or are the default settings fine?

Can ImgBurn create ISOs of Mac Formatted DVDs? I would like to backup some Mac Software CDs to ISO images.
