Unable to create CD CUE file... / Unspecified error

Honestly, i didn't know where to look for the ID3 tag version info. All i found about ID3 tag is shown on the screenshot below. It shows two versions: So, as i understood it is not possible to burn an Audio CD from these files using ImgBurn? -

It's a MPEG Audio Layer 3 32000Hz mono 48Kbps and there are no pronlems with other files that i've tryed with to create CD CUE file. Have no clue how to check it. -

After all got this: Log: I 13:58:33 ImgBurn Version 2.4.0.0 started!I 13:58:33 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) I 13:58:33 Total Physical Memory: 916,460 KB - Available: 645,788 KB I 13:58:33 Initialising SPTI... I 13:58:33 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 13:58:33 Found 2 DVD

To me it looks strange too, but that is true. And that's right, speed, succesful creation image file from disc/verification of a disc against image file depends on drives. One drive failes to create/verify on slow speed, other did it succesfuly no matter what speed was selected. Thanks for answers!

Shame on you!!!! :D Regards Aaaaaa... That's not my CD. I've borrowed it.

Thanks, blutach! I guess it depends on a player, good player will make switching layers seamless regardless of what SPLIP was saying for the selected sell 'Yes' or 'No'. Having option check 'seamless' set by default (i.e. unticked) i'm happy with the results - switching of layers always seamless in my player. And to the players supporting seamless option, what is it might say in the description for the player supporting 'seamless' layer break? Or basically you discover about it on a practice?
-
Thanks blutach! Up to this day i always burned DL disks with check seamless unticked (SPLIP was saying 'No', except for the grey star on the selected cell). But playing such disk in my DVD player i never ever noticed any pause when playing across the LB. It seems to me that none seemless works as seamless.
-
Mmmm... Well, i do not know if my player supports it or not, but i never ever noticed any pause while drive switches the layers. And i'm talking here about DVD9 i've burned with Imgburn and the selected cell where marked as 'NO' in the SPLIP column (i.e. none seamless) for the most of the times. I'm confused.
-
O yeah! I missed it! It sounded to me as 'yes' is better than 'no'. If so, than why by default it is set to 'no' (not seemless)? Or do i misunderstood something, because layer breaks with green, blue and yellow stars (better options) always marked as none seemless layer break, on the other hand layer breakes with the grey stars (worst options) marked as seemless? Why? Isn't it better to have 'Check Seemless' option ticked for all the time?
-
Hi! Although, seamles option was present in older version and newer version doesn't have it. But, i'm kinda curious, what that option was for? And in which cases it needed to be ticked? Thanks!

ImgBurn burns files in alphabetical order. Can this be changed?
SIMPLE_GUY replied to SIMPLE_GUY's topic in ImgBurn Support
Thanks a lot LIGHTNING UK! !!! Two more quetions i have about 'CUE' image file format. 1. Say i want to make an exact copy of a CD-DA using Imgburn. After 'creating image file from a disc' i have two files. (BIN & CUE) Which one do i have to sellect for 'writing image file to a disc'? 2. What is the best and easy way of converting *.cue files back to MP3, WMA, et cetera format? -
ImgBurn burns files in alphabetical order. Can this be changed?
SIMPLE_GUY replied to SIMPLE_GUY's topic in ImgBurn Support
Thanks, blutach! I already have burnt some MP3 files to a CD using the manual - worked great!!! But i have some questions. I didn't really understood what is 'PreGap' option does, because i didn't noticed any difference between '0 Seconds' and '2 Seconds' in both cases gap between files seemed to have same length. Am i missing something here? P.S. In both cases 'Session' object in the tree were highlighted. And with 'Session' object highlighted i've ticked 'Tag' in 'CD-TEXT:' option. But after disc being burnt, WMP doesn't show me the right information for track names nor Album nor Artist. Instead, it's saying 'Unknown Artist', 'Unknown Album', 'Track 1' 'Track 2' so on. What happent to the real media information? By the way KMPlayer is reflecting correct media info, while WMP - doesn't? Why? And also, there is no name shown for the 'CUE' image CD disc in 'My Computer' / 'Explorer' when the disc is in the drive. More to that, it seems like nothing on the disc at all. Although, the CD plays what been recorded to it. Is that normal? When saving a *.cue file, i shall select 'Ansi' when file name is in english (latin characters) and 'Unicode' for all other international characters (for example cyrrillics)? And that applies only to an album name/title (i.e. image's volume label), but not to a track names/titles. Right? After all i wish Imgburn can create DVD audio. Reason, not much can be put on a CD especially in 'CUE' image file format. -
ImgBurn burns files in alphabetical order. Can this be changed?
SIMPLE_GUY replied to SIMPLE_GUY's topic in ImgBurn Support
I ment MP3, WMA files and in my opinion there is no difference whether you burn (MP3, WMA) files to CD or DVD as long as your player reads DVDs with MP3 or WMA files on it or am i wrong? And one more thing, say, i'll burn MP3 files to a disc using the manual will that make MP3 files readable in regular player which usually don't play MP3 files? -
ImgBurn burns files in alphabetical order. Can this be changed?
SIMPLE_GUY replied to SIMPLE_GUY's topic in ImgBurn Support
Thanks a lot LIGHTNING UK! !!! But in new version i'm not sure with 'UDF Revision' what to choose. And what to choose when recording music, what to choose when recording AVI files, and what to choose when burning VIDEO_TS folder or image? I need advise. Thanks. -
ImgBurn burns files in alphabetical order. Can this be changed?
SIMPLE_GUY replied to SIMPLE_GUY's topic in ImgBurn Support
Well, now i have ImgBurn v2.4.0.0 And here i'm again with the question - "Is there a way to prevent ImgBurn sorting files to alphabetical order? I know Nero doesn't sort files, but burns them to a disc preserving order in which files were added for burning." Thanks. -

Choosing appropriate File System / Cyrillic?

Yes. I don't really understand all these things. But, is there a resolution to this? -

So, do i have to uninstall Sonic and Nero? Can that provide a negative effect on how files burned to a media? Thanks! -
Choosing appropriate File System / Cyrillic?
SIMPLE_GUY replied to SIMPLE_GUY's topic in ImgBurn Support
Just one more thing. When i create ISO (image) on a hard drive with ImgBurn, cyrillics appear normal on image's volume label (i.e. it's name). But if burning files directly to media with ImgBurn, cyrillics turn in to unreadable text on image's volume label in 'My Computer' / 'Explorer' when the disc is in the drive. May be that will give you some idea? Thanks!
