I had the same problem Drive Pioneer 112D 1.21. It gives this error as soon as a DVD is inserted (Verbatim DVD-R 16x certified) No log as it gives the message as soon as you start the program and it does not allow you to burn anything if you have that kind of DVD inserted. Updated the Firmware 1.22 and everything is working now.
