The disc's you have are really poor media.

 

Get some verbatim dual layer made in Singapore.

 

See dell to see if there is a firmware update to your drive.

 

but most importantly use verbatim dual layer all the other brands are terrible in comparison

 

 

So do you think it is the disks that are causing the problem? Thanks for the response.

also im using some "windata" dvd+r dl. Don't know if media makes a difference. Before I used memorex dvd-r dl. Thanks.

[I/0 Error on dell inspiron e1705]

I get an I/O when I try to burn a game using the .dvd file. This started doing this yesterday, before it would work without any errors but now it is giving me this error. I updated the firmware to my dvd burner as well. Here is a picture of the error.
