Steffs

I have certain files downloaded from the internet that i wish to burn to DVD. My problem is that when i click add file, and browes, the programme doesn't seem to recognise the files I want and doesn't list them. Do I need to convert them to something else for the imgburn to recognise them??? If so how do I do that? Or What???
