A video newbie with a Christmas project.
Made a short (~8 min.) movie on Windows Movie Maker, editing & pasting together some AVI files from my digital camera. Following their instructions ( at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/m.../savetodvd.mspx ), I saved the project to my computer using the "DV-AVI (NTSC)" setting. Now I had a ~1.6 GB AVI file and needed a burner program.
I read a good review so got a copy of ImgBurn, went into Build mode, got the file, and burned it to a DVD (log below). I tried to play the disc on our Sony DVP-NS300 DVD Player and got "Cannot Play this Disc". I tried to play it on our RCA DRC200N Player and got "Unknown Disc".
As ImgBurn not working for me (as yet), I then got the free download version of VideoDVDMaker (at protectedsoft.com), and from that produced a DVD which strangely worked on the RCA but not Sony machines.
Clearly I'm doing something wrong in ImgBurn. Any thoughts/help? Any further info. I can provide?
Much, much obliged -
