Hi Lightning Not sure its a simple as that I've been playing with "Media Code Speed Edit" & "DVD Identifier" and my firmware A306 According to that only 4 types of DVD+R9 are supported:- MKM 001-000 PHILIPS 002-000 RICOHJPN D01-001 RITEK D01-000 I've now just modified that to:- RITEK S04-066 Reflashed & rebooted Still no luck. Hello one and all I wonder if you can shed some light on a problem I'm having burning DVD +R DL disks. This is the first time I've bought DL disks (Memorex) and I cannot get my drive to burn anything to them. I've been using the drive (LG GSA 4160B) for months with single layer disks and never normally have any problems. Normally I use Nero, that did not work so I downloaded the latest version (6.6.1.4) and tried again, still no luck. I've tried ImgBurn 2.3.2.0 still no luck. I've updated the firmware from A302 to A306 (RPC1 & AUTO) not sure what the difference is but neither work. I've checked on line and the disks are supposed to be supported (RITEK S04 @ 5x).
