  1. Most players will only handle mpeg1 or 2 if the files are just thrown on a disk and put in a players.

     

    Look into authoring DVDs or vcds. TMPGenc dvd author is good, nero's is pretty decent and simple to use as well.

     

    Yup, that's what it was. I ended up converting my WMVs to MPEGs and that did the trick. I guess I was under the impression that transcoding converted the files into a standard DVD format.

  2. Using ImgBurn, I created an ISO file from multiple video files (MPG, AVI, WMV). I then burned the ISO to a single-layer DVD-RW. However, when I go to play the DVD in my home DVD player, only one of the files shows up in the title menu and that's the only one that plays. Am I doing something wrong?

     

    I looked at the size of the ISO and it looks right. I also looked at the DVD in Windows Explorer and I can see all the files on the DVD. The file that plays is in the middle of the list. Really stumped.
