Newbie Question Burning Blu Ray, is this normal??

I have the most current version of IMGBURN. I am trying to burn a blu ray disk. I've noticed that when it gets to the end of the process( or is it?) the log says operation completed and the tray opens and close very quick, (cycling tray before verify?). and starts all over like its going through the process again. Shouldn't after operation complete appears on the log, that means finished?? I burned a blu ray movie yesterday and after the tray opened and closed quick and it appeared it was starting over, I closed the program. I then put the movie in my player and it seemed fine, although I didnt watch it all. It just seems to me its trying to put it on twice. I'm still burning right now, but here is the log so far. I just thought I'd let it go til it wouldn't go anymore. It says around 20 minutes burn time, seem about right? I am using the default settings, I even reinstalled the program Thanks..

I guess you've never used the program before... or at least never paid any attention to what it's doing.

There are 2 operations going on there...

1. Writing the disc.

2. Verifying the disc.

The stuff in the log *should* make that obvious - because it actually says 'Writing Sectors' in one and 'Verifying Sectors' in the other.

So in answer to your question, yes it's perfectly normal.
